Filippo Perocco
Diplomato in Organo e Composizione Organistica presso il Conservatorio “B. Marcello” di Venezia. Presso lo stesso Istituto ha ottenuto il diploma in Composizione con il massimo dei voti sotto la guida di Riccardo Vaglini.
Ha partecipato al 40° e 41° Ferienkurse von neue Musik Darmstadt (2000-2002) seguendo i diversi workshops di composizione (S. Sciarrino, T. Hosokawa, O. Neuwirth, M. Levinas, T. Murail., W. Rihm), collaborando con l’Ensemble Resonanz. Ha frequentato i seminari di interpretazione della letteratura organistica contemporanea con Z. Szathmáry. Durante “Compositori a confronto” 2002 e 2003 (Reggio Emilia) ha seguito i seminari di S. Bussotti, G. Manzoni, N. Sani, A. Solbiati, G. Taglietti e G. Verrando.
Selezionato dal Gaudeamus Foundation, dall’Internationales Forum für Kultur und Wirtschaft - di Dresda e da Acanthes, sue opere sono state commissionate ed eseguite da Holland Symphonia, Dresdner Sinfonikern, Young Janácek Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra, Orchestre National de Lorraine, Filarmonia Veneta, Orchestra d’Archi Italiana, Orchestra Regionale della Toscana, Ensemble Vocal Modern, IXION ensemble (Londra), ensemble Aleph (Parigi), Vokalensemble Neue Musik Berlin, Trio KAIDA (Amsterdam), dall’ ASTRA Chamber Choir (Melbourne), COROinCANTO (Treviso), trasmesse da emittenti radiofoniche (Radio di Belgrado, la NPS olandese, SBS Melbourne, BBC, RAI Radio3, Polski Radio).
Nel luglio2006 è stato Composer in residence all’ European Centre for the Arts “KunstForum Hellerau” a Dresda. Nel 2008 ha ricevuto l’Affiliated Italian Arts Fellowship - Composer in residence all’American Academy in Rome. Nel 2009 riceve il premio Fulbright conferito dalla Commissione per gli scambi culturali fra l’Italia e gli Stati Uniti - J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB) con un’affiliazione con la Brandeis Univerity di Boston (USA).

Coautore ed esecutore delle musiche del monologo di D. Villatico “Voi che ascoltate” (Venezia, Ateneo Veneto e Teatro La Fenice – Sala delle Esposizioni - Febbraio 2005).
Ha studiato Direzione d’Orchestra con Emilio Pomarico all’Accademia Internazionale della Musica
– Scuole Civiche di Milano e con Sylvain Cambreling alla Johannes Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz.
E’ fondatore e direttore artistico e musicale dell’ensemble di musica contemporanea L’Arsenale.

Filippo Perocco took his degree in Composition at the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice with Riccardo Vaglini, obtaining the maximum marks. At the same institute he obtained the diploma in Organ.
Awarded, selected and finalist in different competitions as Composer Competiton A.GI.MUS. 1998, International Competition “F. Schubert” 1999, International Gaudeamus Competition 2002, Composing Competition for the Room of "Die Gläserne Manufaktur” - Dresden 2004, International Review of Composers Belgrado 2003, Taukay Composers Competition 2006 and 4e Forum International des Jeunes Compositeurs – ensemble Aleph.
He took part at the “Internationale Ferienkurse für neue Musik Darmstadt” 2000-2002, attended several workshops (S. Sciarrino, B. Furrer, T. Hosokawa, O. Neuwirth, E. Nunes, M. Levinas, T. Murail., W. Rihm, S. Bussotti). Guest of a residency 2006 at the European Centre for the Arts “KunstForum Hellerau” in Dresden (Germany) for music sessions with the Ensemble Aleph. In 2007 he was selected for attend the composition workshop in Acanthes with Yan Maresz, Michael Jarrell and Marco Stroppa.
In 2006 he has been Composer in residence at the European Centre for the Arts “KunstForum Hellerau” in Dresden In 2008 he received the Affiliated Italian Arts Fellowship – Composer in residence all’American Academy in Rome. He studies conducting with Emilio Pomàrico at the International Academy of Music in Milan and Sylvain Cambreling at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz.
He is the founder and artistic director of the ensemble L’Arsenale (Venice), and one of the founders of the multiple keyboards ensemble Teclas.
His works are published by ArsPublica and Doblinger.
