Marco Maiocchi
Nato a Milano nel 1946, laureato in Fisica. Professore Associato di Informatica all'Università Statale di Milano dal 1973, è oggi Ordinario presso il Politecnico di Milano, Facoltà del Design. Dopo oltre vent'anni di ricerche in Metodologie di Programmazione, Qualità e Ingegneria del Software, negli ultimi dieci anni ha spostato i suoi campi d'interesse verso Internet, il Progetto di Ipertesti, la Comunicazione Multimediale e il ruolo della forma nel design. Tra i fondatori di Etnoteam spa nel 1978, è stato Amministratore Delegato di I.NET spa fino al 2004. Ha avuto la responsabilità di numerosi progetti, incluse ricerche di livello nazionale del C.N.R. E' attivamente presente in numerose avanguardie artistiche. E' autore di numerosi libri e di centinaia di articoli scientifici e di divulgazione.

Marco Maiocchi
Born in Milan in 1946, graduated in Physics. After more than twenty years of research in Programming Methodologies, Software Quality and Software Engineering, he changed his interest field in the last ten years, toward Internet, Multimedia Communication, Hypertext Design and.the fore of the form in design Among the founders of Etnoteam in 1978, he has been the CEO of I.NET spa till 2004. He has been responsible of many software projects, also related to Government Research Projects. He is actively present in many cultural and artistic avant-gardes. He is author of many books and hundreds of scientific and popularized papers.
